报告人简介：
吴忠民, 经济学博士，博士生导师。本科毕业于吉林大学。获上海财经大学经济学硕士学位。获英国南安普顿大学经济学博士学位。现任职于英国诺丁汉特伦特大学，诺丁汉商学院，Reader/Associate professor in Economics。是留英中国经济学会（Chinese Economics Association in the UK）的组织者和领导者之一，曾经担任中国留英经济学会轮值主席（2007-2008）。主要研究领域为劳动经济学和应用经济计量学，特别是农民工和移民，失业，就业和创业，企业绩效，中国经济和劳动力市场, 以及面板数据的计量经济学分析等。
编写了《世界经济中的中国》（China inthe World Economy）、《中国的金融行业改革与国际一体化》（Financial Sector Reform and the InternationalIntegration of China）等书。
在国内外著名学术期刊上发表了20 多篇学术论文并多次获奖。
