报告题目：Numerical Simulation of Multi-Physical Phenomena in Some Engineering Problems

This talk presents two industrial application projects: 1) Mathematical modelling and computational simulation of transient two-phase flows in pipelines of the nuclear power plant; 2) Multi-phase flow problems during the liquid composite molding (LCM) aerospace manufacturing processes, will be presented. These research projects which often involve contact and interface problems between fluids and structures, plus its multi-physical, multi-scale nature and complex system typologies, are known to be challenging, and necessitating continuous research effort. Motivated by these difficulties, some new numerical methods, e.g. the Conservative Flux Optimization methods (CFO) and the Simplified Weak Galerkin Methods (SWG) have been proposed and studied for some simplified problems. Numerical theories such as the stability, discrete maximum principle (DMP) and optimal order of error estimates have been established and verified by numerical experiments. These numerical methods will be further extended and applied to solve more realistic multi-physical problems.
刘玉洁，鹏城实验室量子计算研究中心助理教授，于2010年在皮埃尔和玛丽居里大学（巴黎第六大学）获得数学工程硕士学位，并于2014年在法国艾克斯-马赛大学获得应用数学博士学位。 此后，她在法国圣艾蒂安矿业学院的机械和直接制造工艺部担任博士后。 2016年，她在中山大学数据与计算机科学学院担任副研究员。
