Abstract:

Presenter Introduction: Professor Farkhod Eshmatov is the Associate Dean of School of Natural Sciences and Humanity in New Uzbekistan University (Tashkent, Uzbekistan). He obtained his Ph.D in Mathematics at Cornell University in 2007. He mainly works on algebra, noncommutative algebraic geometry, integrable systems, infinite dimensional Lie algebras and mathematical physics. He has made many important works on noncommutative Poisson structure and symplectic structure, invariants of matrices, Calabi-Yau algebras, derived schemes, and so on. Recently, he and his coauthors introduced a novel approach that employs techniques from noncommutative Poisson geometry to comprehend the algebra of invariants of two matrices, and further entirely solved the open problem of computing the algebra of invariants of two matrices of order 4.
