Bio:
Hu Naihong is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Mathematics, East China Normal University, the executive director of the Sino-French Joint Laboratory for Basic Mathematics (LIA) at East China Normal University, and a Humboldt scholar. She specializes in the study of Lie theory, quantum groups, and Hopf algebra structures and representations. In recent years, she has shown interest in frontier research topics such as quantum group representations, finite tensor category theory, quantum topology, and topological quantum computing. She currently serves as an editorial board member of the SCI journal Frontiers Math. She has received the second prize of the Fok Ying Tung Prize (Research Category) from the Ministry of Education, the Third Excellent Teachers' Teaching and Scientific Research Award Plan of the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Education's Young Teachers Award (Outstanding Young Teachers), as well as the Shanghai Qimingxing Plan and Tracking Plan. She has led multiple general projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), participated in two key projects funded by NSFC, and collaborated with Professor Jing Naihuan from North Carolina State University, USA, to obtain the Overseas Youth Cooperation Research Fund from the NSFC. She has published over 80 high-level academic papers in international academic journals such as Crelle J., Comm. Math. Phys., Israel J. Math., and J. Algebra.
