Fano varieties are one of three fundamental objects in algebraic geometry. We will introduce Fano varieties and their geometry. We will also introduce some of my work related to Fano varieties. These are joint work with Shokurov, Birkar.

报告人简介:

陈亦飞，中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院副研究员，师从美国约翰霍普金斯大学Shokurov教授，主要从事双有理代数几何的研究，中国数学会副秘书长,在J. Algebraic Geom.等代数权威杂志上发表多篇论文，主持或参与多项国家自然科学基金面上项目、重点项目等。曾在英国剑桥大学和日本东京大学长期访问。
