报告摘要: In this talk, l shall report our latest progress on the mathematical study of inverse problems for mean field games. We develop several novel mathematical strategies including high-order variation and successive linearization in probability spaces that can effectively tackle the inverse problems. The study relates to several applications of practical interest. Moreover, I shall discuss several open problems in this emerging field of research.


报告人简介:

Hongyu Liu is a Chair Professor of Applied Mathematics at City University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on applied and computational mathematics including inverse problems and imaging, wave propagation, PDEs, spectral theory and scattering theory, mathematical materials science, and mean field games. He is a founding editor-in-chief of Communications on Analysis and Computation; recipient of the Calderón Prize by Inverse Problems International Association (IPIA); Changjiang Scholar of Ministry of Education; and Fellow of IOP and Fellow of IMA.
