报告摘要(ABSTRACT):

µ-Bases are a new representation for rational curves and surfaces, which bridge between their parametric formsand implicit forms. µ-Bases inherit all intrinsic geometric properties of curves and surfaces. Due to their advantages in low degree, fast computation, and providing non-redundant information, µ-bases have well served as a radically new approach to the century old problem of implicitization, and created convenience for many geometric computational problems. We shall focus on the application of µ-bases in singularity computations of rational curves and surfaces, to show the power of µ-bases in expanding the singularity tree which is also crucial to algebraic geometry.

 

报告人简介(BIOGRAPHY):

贾晓红,中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院副研究员,研究方向为计算机辅助几何设计。于中国科学技术大学数学系取得学士、博士学位,博士期间于美国莱斯大学计算机系进行联合培养。曾于香港大学计算机系图形学实验室从事博士后研究。曾获中国科学院院长奖优秀奖、中国科学院优秀博士论文、中国科学院数学院系统所关肇直青年研究奖、中国工业与应用数学学会几何设计与计算青年学者奖、中科院数学院第十届“陈景润未来之星”等荣誉。
