Report title: Angle structure of hyperbolic 3-manifolds

Reporter: Zhang Faze, Lecturer, Northeast Normal University

Report time: November 28, 2020 10:00-11:00 AM

Report location: Tencent Conference ID: 849 169 705; PW: 125689

School contact: Wang Xiao wangxiaotop@jlu.edu.cn

Report summary:

We will study angle structures on ideally triangulated compact 3-manifolds with high genus boundary and will show that the existence of angle structures implies the existence of a hyperbolic metric with totally geodesic boundary, and conversely each hyperbolic 3-manifold with totally geodesic boundary has an ideal triangulation that admits angle structures.
