From August 15 to 19, 2023, the "Sub - forum of the 9th Sino - Russian Symposium on Knots and Related Topics of the 2023 International Industry - University - Research - Application Cooperation Conference (Changchun)" co - hosted by the School of Mathematics of Jilin University and the China - Russia Mathematics Center, and jointly co - organized by Peking University, Beijing Normal University, Chelyabinsk State University, Dalian University of Technology, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Soochow University, Tomsk State University (listed in alphabetical order, the same below) was held in Room 209 of Zhengxin Building, Jilin University. The members of the Forum Program Committee are composed of Professor Wang Jiajun from Peking University, Professor Cheng Zhiyun from Beijing Normal University, Professor Sergei Matveev from Chelyabinsk State University, Professor Yang Zhiqing from Dalian University of Technology, Professor Vassily Manturov from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Professor Zhang Ying from Soochow University, and Professor Andrei Vesnin, a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences from Tomsk State University.


The forum invited experts and scholars in the field of topological knot theory from multiple international universities and research institutions to report on the latest research progress. More than 50 experts and scholars from over 20 universities and research institutions, including Peking University, Fudan University, New York University Abu Dhabi, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Jilin University, participated in the forum. The opening ceremony of the forum was chaired by Teacher Wang Xiao from the School of Mathematics of Jilin University.

The seminar was held in a warm atmosphere and achieved complete success. It provided an opportunity for academic exchange, in which experts and scholars in related fields exchanged academic ideas, inspired innovative inspirations, and enhanced academic friendships, thereby promoting the development of knot theory and its related fields.
