Abstract:
Recently, many authors have studied fractional optimization problems and moment problems. The moment problems have been well known and very useful for many real-world applications. In this talk, we consider a fractional moment problem involving SOS-convex polynomials and derive a linear semidefinite optimization problem by utilizing the Lagrangian dual of the fractional moment problem. We demonstrate that the solutions of the fractional moment problem can be obtained from those of the linear semidefinite optimization problem.
