报告题目：On the Differential Spectra of Some Cryptographic Functions with Low Differential Uniformity

报告摘要：
The differential spectrum of a function can be used to analyze its resistance against some variants of differential cryptanalysis, and also plays a significant role in sequences, coding theory and combinatorial design. A complete investigation on the differential spectrum of a given function is interesting yet challenging in general.
Our talk will introduce the research progresses in this area, including the following topics:
an overview of previously known results,
the commonly-used methods for computing the differential spectra,
new results about the differential spectra of some power mappings and some binomials with low differential uniformity,
some open problems and related research topics will also be discussed.
报告人简介：
夏永波，男，中南民族大学教授。2009年6月毕业于湖北大学数学系，获理学博士学位；2013年9月至2014年9月赴挪威卑尔根大学访学，合作导师为IEEE Fellow、挪威科学院院士Tor Helleseth教授。目前的研究兴趣为：无线通信中的序列设计、编码和密码学。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目2项、青年项目1项，湖北省自然科学基金面上项目2项，科技部外专项目2项。在《IEEE Transactions on Information Theory》、《Finite Fields and Their Applications》、《Designs, Codes and Cryptography》、《Cryptography and Communications》、《Science China Mathematics》等期刊上发表论文30余篇。曾获2018年湖北省自然科学奖二等奖、2019年国家民委教学成果二等奖、2018年和2023年湖北省教学成果三等奖，2019年入选国家民委青年教学标兵，2020年入选国家民委中青年英才培养计划。
