the set of all positive integers. The research on the integers of the form
and the related topics has a long history.In 1849, de Polignac posed the following conjecture: Every odd number greater than 3 can be represented as
. In 1934, Romanoff proved that there is a positive proportion of the positive odd integers that can be written as
. In 1950, van der Corput and Erdős proved the following result independently: There is a positive proportion of the positive odd numbers that cannot be represented as
.
In this talk, we will talk about related progress. In particular, we will talk about the integers of the form

are given positive integers.
报告人简介:陈永高南京师范大学二级教授,博士生导师。1992年获第三届钟家庆数学奖;1996年获江苏省科技进步奖二等奖;2002年获国务院政府特殊津贴;2007年被授予全国优秀教师称号。1996年获得霍英东教育基金会高等院校青年教师基金项目;2002年至2025年连续主持国家自然科学基金面上项目。陈永高教授已在American Journal of Mathematics; Mathematics of Computation; Journal of the London Mathematical Society; Combinatorica; Science China Mathematics等国内学术刊物上发表学术论文220多篇,在数论方向的两大顶级期刊Acta Arithmetica和Journal of Number Theory上共发表69篇。陈永高教授曾入选江苏省“333高层次人才培养工程”中青年科技领军人才培养对象。三次担任国际数学奥林匹克中国队领队。曾担任两届中国数学奥林匹克委员会副主席。
